What is the best way to install and electrical outlet on an exterior, concrete block wall?
A FL home with CBC 1st floor construction. I want to install and outlet for a wall-mounted LCD TV. Outlet J-box will not dit betwwn dywall and CBC. What is the best way to mount the outlet? Bust the CBC to make a blockout for the outlet or is there a “slim” outlet that I can use?
Yes you can do it both ways. If you bust a hole in the block wall, be sure to seal the area around the hole to keep bugs and heat out of the house. The minimal expanding foam works great.
